Did you buy your kids some of those Shrek glasses sold at McDonald's? If you did, stop using them immediately. McDonald's today announced a recall of every glass sold in the United States and Canada, citing that traces of cadmium on the pictures of the glass. Cadmium is a toxic metal which has the opportunity to cause major medical problems if children are exposed to it for long periods of time. The fear is that cadmium could leech from the paint to the children's hands, then that child would be exposed to it if they touch their mouth with their unwashed hands!
