2k Sports announces that Michael Jordan will be the cover athlete for NBA 2K11 . I've been waiting for years upon years for MJ to be back into a NBA game. Some people may not care at all, but this is huge news for me. The greatest player in the game has been very selective on what basketball video game products he allows his image to be on. You'll notice in game before, the Bulls has had # 23 playing shooting guard, not Michael Jordan. This is because Jordan is not of the players union, which has a contract with EA and 2K to be able to include current and retired players in their games. Apparently, Jordan needs the money , or something because not only will he be in the game, he's on the cover.
